"Come Follow Me"
If the Pope came to the western suburbs, how many people would show up to see him? Hundreds of thousands, maybe a million. This July 4th, hundreds of our parishioners will attend the Independence Day Parade, but George Washington or Thomas Jefferson will not be in attendance. Many people walk the streets in town every day for exercise with their spouses, friends, or even their dog. But, if given the chance, how many of us would walk with Jesus Himself, right here in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills? On Sunday, June 7th, the Feast of Corpus Christi, right after Notre Dame's 11:30 Mass, we have an incredible opportunity to do just that, as 900 parishioners from 17 different parishes did attending last year's Procession (see it at the St. Isaac’s website: http://sij.net/corpus-christi-procession/). Enjoy an unforgettable, grace-filled, mile-long, hour-long stroll on a summer day with fellow Catholics and Jesus Himself in a fun, festive, family-friendly Eucharistic Procession from Notre Dame to St Isaac Jogues on the Feast of Corpus Christi. To find out more and to sign up please click here: http://sij.net/corpus-christi-procession/ Come be a part of history on June 7th at 12:30 walking with Christ from Notre Dame Parish to St. Isaac Jogues in a festive Procession of Praise followed by Benediction and an Ice Cream Social. A Trolley will transport parishioners between parishes and will follow the Procession. Comments are closed.
