Full-day kindergarteners go outside for recess (weather permitting otherwise they stay in the gym). There are usually 2-3 parent volunteers and one aide that stay just with the full-day kids during this entire time! Signing up to chaperone the kids during playground and lunch is REALLY fun! Make sure you do this on volunteer sign up night.
