Community Service

St. Isaac Jogues Parish School promotes personal and spiritual growth of the whole child with God’s grace.  Education with a difference. We encourage our children to exceed academically and we also teach them to think beyond themselves. We inspire the children to follow in Jesus’s footsteps and to practice their lives in love and kindness, always keeping the Virtues in their daily lives.  Jesus Christ lives in our curriculum and that sets us apart from other excellent local elementary schools. To heighten their spiritual growth, we invite them to broaden their faith by extending themselves into the community with service. 

Through the Service Program, we inspire the promotion of a dedication to finding their own talents to use as gifts to help others, all with a strong desire to work in God’s name. The efforts of the Service Program aim to ensure that the program creates a meaningful experience for all those involved as well as for the charitable cause.  

Children make a strong impact in our world. What they can accomplish makes a difference and our hope is that we instill life long lessons that they will carry on into a fulfilled adulthood. We want them to live the SIJ motto: We Invite, We Include, We Inspire, We Ignite.

Students are invited to broaden their faith by extending themselves into the community with service. Each grade level is given a service area of focus, where students are inspired to look outside of our community and care for others. God’s Creation, homelessness, Veterans, and human dignity are just some of the themes students are called to help through service activities and field trips.
